Susan Bijl designed a bag for Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen as an ode to the iconic art depot. The silver and grey bag made of recycled nylon, called: ' The New Shopping Bag Mirror & Agate ', now also called the 'depot bag', reflects the light just like the mirrors and the colour of the actual building. The bag was for sale during the Silver Opening, the construction preview of the depot. After the great success, a new edition is now following. The shopping bag is an iconic Rotterdam design of which the first version was designed in 2000. Since then, five different versions have been made that eventually led to the bag that is also made in silver. Photo: Jan Bijl A disco ball is not a football. A glass slipper is not a sneaker.
