Red red redRed is perhaps the colour of all colours. No other colour affects our mood so directly. Red is energy, passion, danger and expression. Red as the measure of all things. Unlike blue, red pigment was never scarce. It could be extracted from minerals, plants or insects. And it comes in an endless array of shades, from light orange to deep purple. Above all, red is a colour that is brimming with stories, making it the perfect theme of the 79th Boijmans Diary.
