About "The Bonte Koe"

De Bonte Koe is a family business founded in 1992 by Carmel Klein Kelly and her brother-in-law Cees Klein. Their chocolate studio at the Lange Haven in Schiedam was born from the love for the divine chocolate product. In the old gin warehouse, the gin vapors gave way to delicious cocoa scents. Many years later, De Bonte Koe has grown into a chocolate phenomenon with a historic home base in Schiedam, a modern chocolate concept store in The Hague and a store in Rotterdam. De Bonte Koe products are still made according to the original recipes with fair trade chocolate and ingredients. The packaging is made as much as possible from renewable raw materials and their roof is covered with solar panels to minimize our ecological footprint.
