Sylvie Zijlmans and Hewald Jongenelis invited ten friends to have a meal with them in a meadow on ten consecutive days. Each day they moved their friends, the tables and the food closer to the horizon, eventually assembling the photographs of the ten meals together to create a single image of a large party, which was displayed as a huge, wall-sized installation. A special feature of the project was that on each occasion each friend appeared in a different outfit that had been made by a hundred different tailors in Beijing - an element that explored the connection between the West and China. This illustrated magazine documents the entire project and includes meetings with the tailors, visits to their workshops, an outline of their working methods, and an accompanying text by Dirk van Weelden.
